Hotel links to Tripadvisor? If you’re the owner of a small, independent, luxury hotel and your website is performing well for you by being top of Google, attracting plenty of visitors and generating plenty of enquiries and bookings, why would you want to link back to Tripadvisor?

Well Written Websites Perform Better

Written content of a hotel’s website plays a key role in its performance. Not only should websites be written to sell the benefits of the hotel but the wesbite content should also be written for search engine optimisation.

Hotel Website Design – Avoid Dark Background

Small independent luxury hotels need to have websites that avoid the use of reversed out, e.g. white text on a black background?…The most popular pages on a hotel’s website will, apart from the Home page, be ‘Rooms’ or ‘Accommodation’, ‘Dining’ or ‘Restaurant’, ‘Rates’ and ‘Late Availability’ if there is one (and there should be!), not necessarily in that order.

In August 2010, one of our client hotels commented, “Very impressive stats this month – well done you and even better on page 2 to see how many of our competitors are not on Top 10 and we are!!! Fantastic- what are they doing with their websites”.
